1950 Sydney Naval Presentation Night

Hey, how good is this?

A great photo of Sydney Naval first grade players following their presentation at the Kensington School of Arts Building in Goodward Street, Kensington (took us a while to find that place)

In the centre with the cup in his right hand is Danny Wilson, a club legend. Because of the passing of time we cannot identify many of the others in this picture. However, we think the man in the centre of the front row is John Sheraton, who went on to form the Green Valley Junior Football Club - a very successful club in its time (now gone).

The most beautiful part of this photo, is the lady in the background, obviously part of the band, who is tuning in her violin!

Does anyone know the other faces - let us know.
