The 1993 NSW Teale Cup team was selected on player assessment rather than at the annual regional intra-state trials.

Using an on-going process through the Development Squads, the 'Blues Squad' (at Sydney University January 24-28, 1993) incorporating a game against the Murray Bushrangers as the curtain raiser to the Richmond v Swans Fosters Cup match at Lavington on February 13.

The group participated in the VCFL Caltex Series Teale Cup Selection Programme at Bendigo on May 8-9..

This inaugural and powerful selection process conmcluded with a three day camp at Wagga's Kapooka Army Base after which the team was announced.

The names of the players appear under the image a couple of whom played in the AFL.
