Central Coast Australian Football League

The Central Coast AFL was started in 1976 when football in many virgin areas began to develop.

The area is just north of Sydney with which it was joined by a modern freeway complex and later an electric train line.

The number of clubs varied from four to seven in its life but for better or worse, it combined with the Newcastle Football League in 2000 to form the Black Diamond AFL.
