NSWAFL Intra-State Player Transfer Form

Not many would remember the days of paper player transfers.

This is a NSW intra-state player transfer form. HOWEVER it was only between clubs that were affiliated with the NSWAFL, so it did not include Riverina, Murray or Broken Hill Clubs.

Anyone new to football administration would have the form returned to them if they completed the wrong copy.

There was also an application to play form players had to complete, and if the player came from another club, a transfer form. If the club was affiliated with the NSWAFL then they used this one; if they came from a NSW club outside the jurisdiction of the NSWAFL, then they used an interstate transfer form, No. 1.

HOWEVER, if they were in the military, they completed a different player transfer form, a No. 2, and submitted it together with their application to play to their league secretary. All very confusing.

Of course player registrations are now done on line with transfer forms almost a thing of the past.
